Booking, cancelations and time keeping

All customers must pay a £25 booking fee to secure their appointment. I kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule, as missed notice prevents us from offering the slot to another client. Cancellations within 24 hours, late arrivals of 15 minutes or more, or failure to attend will incur a 50% fee. Please call 07962 900447 to make changes. Most grooms take 1–2 hours depending on your dog, and we ask that dogs are collected within 15 minutes of the advised time. Early drop‑offs or late collections may incur a small charge. The remaining payment is due on collection, and I accept cash, BACS, and card. Prices may change without notice.

Health and safety for dogs

You must confirm that your dog is healthy and up to date with vaccinations before their groom, as grooming sick or elderly dogs is done at the owner’s risk. Please allow 14 days after any vaccination, and note that puppies can only be groomed two weeks after their second vaccination. If fleas are found, a flea‑treatment bath will be required and charged for, as the studio must then be fully cleaned and disinfected. We may decline further services until the infestation is resolved. If your pet’s coat is severely matted, it may need to be clipped short for their comfort; this will always be discussed with you, and a matting fee may apply due to the extra care required. I will not accept liability for irritation or nicks that can occur when dealing with matted coats, and I will not brush out mats if it causes your dog pain or stress. 

Health and Safety for humans

Let me know in advance if your pet has any behavioural issues so I can plan the safest approach. I may use a muzzle if needed to protect your dog, other pets, and myself. If your dog becomes too stressed or unable to cope, I may stop the groom or recommend completing it over more than one session. Please be aware that if a dog cannot stay still during grooming, minor accidents such as small nicks can occur, and your dog's safety will always guide how I proceed.

Privacy Policy

I collect your name, contact details, and your dog’s information when you book by phone or email. I keep detailed records of all dogs and their treatments, and all client information is stored securely both digitally and on paper. Your details are used only for managing appointments and maintaining accurate grooming records, and they are never shared with third parties. Your pet may be photographed before, during, or after their groom. These images may be used on my website, social media, or printed materials. Your information is kept only as long as necessary for business and record‑keeping. You can request to view or delete your personal information at any time by contacting me directly. This website uses standard IONOS cookies required for basic site functionality, and these do not personally identify you.

Feedback

If you’re ever unhappy with any part of your dogs groom, please let me know within 3 days, ideally before you leave. I’m always happy to discuss your concerns, and reasonable adjustments can be made straight away or noted for next time. I take pride in providing a high standard of grooming and care for both you and your dog, and your feedback helps me maintain that.
